藥師佛，又稱藥師琉璃光如來、消災延壽藥師佛，或大醫王佛、醫王善逝、十二願王，為東方淨琉璃世界的教主。 
在藏傳佛教中，藥師佛的形象為頭頂螺髮，身如琉璃，周身散發著沉靜、安定的藍色光芒。祂的左手拿著藥缽，裡面盛有甘露妙藥，右手持訶梨勒（訶子），能療癒世間一切疾病、痛苦，給予人們無量的光明、智慧、福德，並能為人們延壽。
Medicine Buddha, also called Lapis Lazuli Light Tathagata, Disaster-Removing Life-Lengthening Buddha, Great Healing Buddha and King of Twelve Vows, presides over the Eastern Pure Lapis Lazuli World.
In Tibetan Buddhism, he has spiral hair and a lapis lazuli-like body shining calm blue light. He holds a nectar medicine bowl in his left hand and a chebula fruit in his right. He cures all diseases and sufferings, grants endless light, wisdom, blessings and longevity to all beings.
