藥師佛，又稱藥師如來，全名為〖藥師琉璃光如來〗。他是東方淨琉璃世界的教主，身如琉璃，結跏趺坐。左手托著藥缽結定印，可以去除身體的病苦，破除眾生的三毒；右手施無畏印，並持有法物——訶梨勒，能夠除去一切頑疾與苦痛，是藥中之王。東方淨琉璃世界是佛教理想的淨土樂園，讓每個人都能幸福美滿，身體健康，遠離三惡趣。

Medicine Buddha, or Bhaisajyaguru, is the master of the Eastern Pure Lapis Lazuli World. He relieves ailments and dispels negativity, holding a medicine bowl and herbs.
