藥師佛，又稱藥師琉璃光如來、消災延壽藥師佛，或大醫王佛、醫王善逝、十二願王，為東方淨琉璃世界的教主。

在藏傳佛教中，藥師佛的形象為頭頂螺髮，身如琉璃，周身散發著沉靜、安定的藍色光芒。祂的左手拿著藥缽，裡面盛有甘露妙藥，右手持訶梨勒（訶子），能療癒世間一切疾病、痛苦，給予人們無量的光明、智慧、福德，並能為人們延壽。

Bhaiṣajyaguru Buddha, also known as Bhaiṣajyaguru Vaiḍūryaprabha Tathāgata, the Disaster-Relieving and Life-Prospering Medicine Buddha, the Great Physician Buddha, the Sugata Physician King, and the King of the Twelve Vows, is the presiding Buddha of the Eastern Pure Vaiḍūrya World.

In Tibetan Buddhism, Bhaiṣajyaguru Buddha is depicted with spiral hair atop His head, a body like beryl, radiating calm and steady blue light all around. In His left hand He holds an alms bowl filled with the ambrosia of wondrous medicine, and in His right hand He holds a harītaki (chebula fruit). He heals all illnesses and sufferings of the world, bestows boundless light, wisdom and merit upon beings, and can prolong their lifespan.
