時輪金剛壇城，是辟邪鎮宅的一個最強法門，古時候就連皇宮與寺廟，都會點上這個象徵三千億世界中心，佛祖所居住的地方的壇城。有說此壇城能鎮宅辟邪，可以掛在家中玄關處，妖邪不入。供奉繪製時輪金剛所需資源者，將獲得無量功德，消除無數大劫中造積的所有孼緣及罪障。
《時輪金剛續》提及凡受過此灌頂而堅定信念修持者，雖不修在七世內必定成佛。

凡聞此法而經常念誦咒語者，可轉一切不淨為清淨，令毀滅得以復生，化痛苦、鬥爭為和諧與快樂，平息末法時期各種天災人禍諸橫難，如風災、水災、土石流、流行疫疾傳染病、不治之疾、戰爭等一切劫難，促進和平、風調雨順、五穀豐登、六畜興旺。
凡聞此法、受過灌頂者，重罪輕受、輕罪可免。若不犯重罪，定能不墮三惡道，獲得人身或生到香巴拉淨土，涅槃不輪迴。
凡聽到此法的有情眾生都能解脫、亡者往生淨土等諸多功德。
The Kalachakra Mandala carries profound spiritual meaning. Those who sponsor its creation gain immense merits and rid themselves of ancient karmic obstacles.
As stated in the Kalachakra Tantra, practitioners who receive its empowerment and uphold faith will achieve Buddhahood within seven lifetimes, even with minimal practice. Regular recitation of its mantras purifies impurities, restores what has perished, and transforms suffering and strife into harmony and bliss. It eases natural calamities, epidemics, fatal diseases and wars, bringing mild weather, bumper harvests and prosperous livestock.
People who learn this Dharma and receive empowerment will have their karmic retributions reduced. Those who commit no serious wrongs will escape the three evil realms, being reborn as humans or in the Shambhala Pure Land to reach Nirvana and end reincarnation. All living beings who encounter this teaching attain liberation, and the departed are reborn in the Pure Land.
